Most Effective Blog Promotion

It has been about a week that I haven't updated this blog. Now, I am trying to share about "The Most Effective Blog Promotion". Well, I am not such a good SEO player that I am going to share based on my experiences as a blogger.

We all know that promotion is the best and the fastest way to increase the traffic into our blog. Below is some of the most effective blog promotions:

1. Interesting and unique content

Content is the main factor to promote a blog. I can say that because if the blog content is interesting, unique and useful, the readers or visitors will come again and even promote our blog to their friends. Now, how can we make an interesting, unique and useful content.

a. Up To Date Content. Up to date content can be taken from Google trend, Yahoo Search and others.

b. Content about tips, tutorial or others that are useful for the readers. Remember that they visit a blog to get something useful for them. So never post only for updating a blog but the content is nothing interesting or useful.

c. No Copy Paste Post. Though, your posting or update is interesting, unique and useful but if they are from copy paste post, it will be nothing and hated by the readers. So, try to make your own posting

2. E-MAIL SIGNATURE

I believe that you all have an e-mail, or even more than one e-mail; Yahoo or G-mail. Many of us do not realize that one of the most effective promotion is by using email. With E-Mail signature, we can promote our blog into those receive my e-mail.

3. MAILING LIST or MILIS

One of functions of Mailing List or MILIS is to exchange information among their members. If we are a MILIS member, we will always get email from others members. The email is usually about the information related to the MILIS we join. In MILIS, we can promote as many as possible. For example, if a member is 1000 people, our promotion will be sent into those 1000 people. If they all like our promotion or information, they will click the link into our blog.

4. DISCUSSION FORUM

In Internet, there are hundreds or Discussion Forum. We can be a member based on our blog or business. Besides being able to discuss, we can also promote our blog and free backlinks from the blog we registered in many Discussion Forum.

5. FACEBOOK

It can't be denied that Facebook has become one of the best and most effective media to promote our blog. There are some ways to promote our blog in facebook:

a. Write our blog names in Information column.

b. Use Networkblogs

c. Inser our blog url in every groups we join

6. TWITTER

Besides facebook, Twitter has become one of the most proven and effective ways to promote our blog or post. But, make sure that we have already had many followers before promoting our blog or post. Why? because if we have many followers, our post might be read by as many followers as we have.

7. SUBMIT OUR BLOGS INTO SEARCH ENGINES

Submitting our blog into search engines is a must because our blog will be detected by Search Engines if we submit it into it. One of search engine in which you must submit your blog is Google Search Engine in google.com/addurl

8. SUBMIT BLOG INTO WEB DIRECTORY

Besides Search Engines, Web Directory should be a place to submit our blog. By submitting them, it will make our blog easily detected by Search Engine. Some Web Directories are DMOZ Directory, Google Directory and Yahoo Directory.

9. REGISTER OUR BLOG INTO SOCIAL BOOKMARKING

Social Bookmarking is online media used to bookmark certain posts that we like. There are many social bookmarking, here are some of them:

10. JOIN SOME NETWORK COMMUNITY

11. GIVE COMMENT

Don't be lazy to give comment in the blog we are visiting. If we give comment, the blog owner should visit our blog back and give comment into our post or guest book.
