Backlink is one of ways to optimize SEO for our blog or website by getting the supports from other blog or website. What is backlink? Backlink is a link or web/blog address that you place into other website or blog. A website or blog needs to have backlinks because:
Google really likes them
A website or blog that has a lot of backlink will increase its popularity. The more backlink, The more popular a website or blog will be.
As far as I know, there are three kinds of ways to do backlinks; One Way Backlink, Two Way Backlinks, and Three Ways Backlinks.
1. One Way Backlink
One Way Backlink is a backlink achieved by placing our link or website/blog address into others website or blog. Meanwhile, others website or blog do not place theirs into our blog. Many websites or blogs owner really want to get a lot of One Way Backlink because it proves that their websites or blogs are popular. Besides that Search Engine, such as google search engine like one way backlink.
Two Way Backlinks is a system in which both blog/website owners (your website/blog and others website/blo) exchange links or website/blog address.
3. Three Way Backlinks
Three Way Backlink is usually applied by the third party that will submit our website/blog into other website/blog. To have this service, first we have to place others link or website/blog address into our website/blog

according my exprience, the more backlink that we got the highest ranking in google search engine for our keyword.
In SEO back-links are very important but i will go for one-way back-links as it can be very beneficial for our site and we can get a good traffic on our site.

I was hoping to find some "proven" strategies to get backlinks as the title of the post suggests, but you've only written about the types of backlinks. Would like to see posts about more specific strategies for getting backlinks.
I have chose number 1 and 2 to hunt backlink, but I have not use number 3 yet. So I have not feel number 3 is like..

The main problem is that it's quite difficult to get one way backlinks nowadays unless you're really good at creating linkbait.

2-way links seem to be less effective now, unless the two websites are extremely related.
With the latest Google Panda update, it's possible even 2 way link exchanges will now lose value.
