It has been about a week that I haven't updated this blog. Now, I am trying to share about "The Most Effective Blog Promotion". Well, I am not such a good SEO player that I am going to share based on my experiences as a blogger.We all know that promotion is the best and the fastest way to increase the traffic into our blog. Below is some of the most effective blog promotions:
1. Interesting and unique contentContent is the main factor to promote a blog. I can say that because if the blog content is 
interesting, unique and useful, the readers or visitors will come again and even promote our blog to their friends. Now, how can we make an interesting, unique and useful content.

b. Content about tips, tutorial or others that are useful for the readers. Remember that they visit a blog to get something useful for them. So never post only for updating a blog but the content is nothing interesting or useful.
c. No Copy Paste Post. Though, your posting or update is interesting, unique and useful but if they are from copy paste post, it will be nothing and hated by the readers. So, try to make your own posting
I believe that you all have an e-mail, or even more than one e-mail; Yahoo or G-mail. Many of us do not realize that one of the most effective promotion is by using email. With E-Mail signature, we can promote our blog into those receive my e-mail.
3. MAILING LIST or MILIS
One of functions of Mailing List or MILIS is to exchange information among their members. If we are a MILIS member, we will always get email from others members. The email is usually about the information related to the MILIS we join. In MILIS, we can promote as many as possible. For example, if a member is 1000 people, our promotion will be sent into those 1000 people. If they all like our promotion or information, they will click the link into our blog.
4. DISCUSSION FORUM
In Internet, there are hundreds or Discussion Forum. We can be a member based on our blog or business. Besides being able to discuss, we can also promote our blog and free backlinks from the blog we registered in many Discussion Forum.
5. FACEBOOK
It can't be denied that Facebook has become one of the best and most effective media to promote our blog. There are some ways to promote our blog in facebook:
a. Write our blog names in Information column.
b. Use Networkblogs
c. Inser our blog url in every groups we join

Yes, I am agree with you. content that have high traffic are content that up to date, useful, and no copy paste.
I usually promote my blog in 'milis'/group email, email signature, discussion forum and blogwalking (minimum 1 new blogger everyday)
the most difficult thing is write 100% original content
